Product Warranty
The warranty for FRANKOF Premium line orthopedic mattresses is from 4 to 5 years (depending on the mattress model). In the event that defects are found which are subject to elimination under the warranty, the buyer must contact the representative salon where the product was purchased. To submit a claim, you must have the store receipt and cash register receipt confirming the purchase. Warranty repair or replacement applies only to the part of the mattress found to be defective. If the entire orthopedic mattress is deemed defective, it is subject to replacement.
The warranty applies to sagging of the orthopedic mattress if a proper base was used (with central support and a wide base over 120 cm, or with at least 5 rigid transverse slats). Sagging is considered to be depressions on the surface of the mattress no deeper than 4 cm on each side of the mattress. Slight depressions caused by body shape are not considered a defect and are normal in the use of an orthopedic mattress.
The warranty does not cover:
- Failure to follow instructions for transportation, storage, or use of the product.
- Mechanical damage to the orthopedic mattress cover: cuts, stains, stretching, fabric loss, or any other damage. Deformation caused by bending the orthopedic mattress during movement or transportation.
- Damage resulting from unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, fire, household accidents, etc.).
- Structural deformations caused by using a substandard base without central support (if the width of the base is over 120 cm) or without 5 rigid transverse slats.
- The height of the orthopedic mattress. FRANKOF Premium line guarantees the presence and height of fillers specified in the mattress specifications. However, the height of the orthopedic mattress may vary slightly due to permissible deviations in the size of materials and manufacturing technologies.
- Body-shaped depressions less than 4 cm deep.
- An orthopedic mattress in an unsanitary condition.
- Changes or damage resulting from using the mattress for purposes other than intended.
- Transportation costs for the orthopedic mattress in case of self-pickup.
Instructions for transportation, storage, and use of mattresses
When transporting, storing, and using the orthopedic mattress, it must be placed horizontally on a flat, rigid surface. A new mattress, after unpacking, may have a natural smell for up to two weeks, which indicates the presence of natural materials such as flax, wool, cotton, etc. Use a quality base for the mattress. Do not place additional items under the mattress to avoid damaging the orthopedic mattress padding.
STRICTLY PROHIBITED:
— bending, folding, or rolling the mattress;
— using an orthopedic mattress on a bed with a sleeping area smaller than the size of the mattress;
— removing and washing the mattress cover at home.
To avoid mattress deformation, try not to sit in the same spot or on the edge of the mattress repeatedly. To extend the lifespan of the mattress, it is recommended to flip it to the other side twice a year. Use the mattress in dry, well-ventilated rooms. Protect it from contact with chemicals and liquids. Perform dry cleaning using a vacuum cleaner. Water-soluble stains can be removed with a soft furniture cleaner or a mild soap solution. Air-dry the orthopedic mattress; do not use an iron. The overall service life of the mattress depends on the recommended weight limit for this model.
When receiving the product, it is necessary to:
— Make sure there are no external defects in the packaging or cover;
— Check for the presence of the official product label;
— Review the information on the product tag;
— Ensure that your weight does not exceed the recommended load for the mattress.
